Students can join an interactive session with SPC’s online career and academic advisors, financial aid counselors, and others who can help guide them through the next steps to becoming a Titan. This will be a live session where they will have the opportunity to learn how to submit documents, navigate the online environment of MySPC, and even chat live with financial aid or advising. These will take place from 10-11 a.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m.

 Campus Event 

Stop by any time from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to:  

  • Finish your application for admission and pay $40 application fee
  • Drop off SEALED official transcripts
  • Take College Placement Test if necessary
  • Update residency information
  • Register and pay for classes
  • Meet with a financial aid staff and find out options to help pay for tuition
  • Visit the bookstore to purchase books
  • Drop off items to complete residency status
  • Meet with an academic advisor
  • Take a mini tour and explore important resource locations on campus
  • Get a photo ID 

Note:  From 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and 4 - 6 p.m., meet with faculty or program representatives to explore a major or just ask questions about classes or programs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it matter what campus I visit?

No, come to any campus that works for you. It doesn’t have to be where you will end up taking most of your classes. This event is an open house, so you can visit any of the participating campuses at any time between 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

What if I am not sure how to pay for college?

Most SPC students get some sort of financial aid or scholarships to pay for school. Professional advisors will be on hand to help you explore your options. You can even apply for financial aid at the event. To apply for financial aid, you will need your:

  • Federal Student Aid PIN 
  • Student’s/Parent’s 2016 W-2 and Federal Income Tax Forms (1040, 1040A or 1040 EZ)
  • 2015 untaxed income (social security, disability, workman's comp, etc.)
  • Driver’s license or state ID
  • Social Security card
  • Spouse or parent’s Social Security number and date of birth

Can I apply at the event?

Yes, it only takes about 10 minutes to apply, and advisors will be on hand to walk you through the process. To get in-state tuition rates, please bring two of the following:

  • Driver's License or state ID
  • Florida vehicle registration
  • Florida voter registration

Is this event open to the public?

Yes! Everyone – potential students and parents - are all welcome.
